Alternatives are available for those unable to do credit card purchases, please reach out for further information at english.ubc@gmail.com. Please note that Bounce does charge fees; ESA membership itself is $5 this year. Bounce is the official platform as per AMS club bylaws.

Regular memberships are available to all current UBC students, regardless of faculty. If you are interested in our Association and activities, we’re here for you!

Here’s what being an ESA member grants you:

• Eligibility to become a blogger. That means any written (academic or creative) works you write can be published to our website!
• Participate in our annual short story competition (for prizes)
• Receive our newsletter where you hear about exciting events and opportunities first
• discounts or perks at certain events
• priority access to events that have limited seats (mentorship opportunities, etc)
• Eligibility to vote, run and be elected in our elections!
